Question 2

How does Google Drive Byte-Perfect Sync work and what is "Fatora Invoices"?

Accepted Answer

When you click "Save to Google Drive", the system produces a byte-perfect PDF and uploads it directly to a private folder named "Fatora Invoices" inside your personal Google Drive. You can view, search, and download your archived invoices anytime from the "Drive Invoices" tab in your Profile page.

Question 3

What is the Client Address Book and what is the 100-client limit?

Accepted Answer

The Address Book allows you to store up to 100 client contacts (Companies or Individuals) with complete details: Name, Email, Phone, Physical Address, VAT/Tax ID, and Contact Person. You can manage them in Profile > Client Directory, or save them directly from the invoice builder. Once saved, you can auto-fill invoices with a single click from the dropdown.

Question 4

How do I export high-resolution, print-ready A4 PDFs?

Accepted Answer

Click the blue "Download PDF" button in the action toolbar. The platform employs a GPU-accelerated rendering engine ensuring crisp 300DPI vector graphics, sharp barcodes/QRs, exact fonts, signatures, and company stamps locked securely into standard A4 format.

Question 5

How do Partial Payments, Deposits, and Watermarks (Balance Due) work?

Accepted Answer

Under Section 4 (Items & Rates), enter any advance payment in "Amount Paid". The invoice calculates the remaining Balance Due and dynamically renders a stylish watermark: "PARTIALLY PAID" or "PAID IN FULL", placed strategically so it never obscures critical invoice rows.

Question 6

How do I add my digital signature, official company stamp, and logo?

Accepted Answer

In Section 1 (Company & Seller), open Brand Assets to upload your logo, official company stamp, or personal signature (transparent PNGs recommended). They are rendered cleanly on the canvas and burned into the final export PDF.

Question 7

How does live foreign exchange currency conversion work?

Accepted Answer

In Section 3 (Invoice Details), pick your base billing currency (USD, SAR, EGP, AED, EUR, GBP, etc.) and a target conversion currency. The platform fetches live open market exchange rates and provides an estimated converted total box under the totals summary.

Question 8

Can I backup and restore invoice drafts as JSON?

Accepted Answer

Yes! Click "Backup" in the bottom action bar to download a full JSON snapshot of your entire invoice state. You can restore it anytime with "Import JSON" in milliseconds.

Question 9

Does the platform support Arabic typography and full RTL/LTR switching?

Accepted Answer

Yes! Fatora Cloud is engineered from the ground up for both Arabic (Right-to-Left) and English (Left-to-Right) layouts with modern typography, clear spacing, and customizable primary accent colors.

Question 10

Are my invoice data and clients private and secure in the cloud?

Accepted Answer

Your data is strictly isolated using Google Firebase Firestore rules and secure client-side encryption. Other users or guests cannot access your directory, and Google Drive uploads reside exclusively within your own Google account.

Question 11

How do I configure VAT, custom sales tax, and discounts?

Accepted Answer

In the totals calculation panel, you can set your tax rate (e.g. 15% for Saudi Arabia or 14% for Egypt) with custom tax labels, and configure discounts either as a percentage or fixed flat amount.

Question 12

How do I send invoices directly to clients via email?

Accepted Answer

Click "Email Client" in the bottom toolbar. A pre-filled modal appears with your client's email address, subject line, and polite billing message. The PDF is attached and dispatched directly from our secure cloud server.

Question 13

How do I print compact Thermal POS Receipts (80mm & 58mm)?

Accepted Answer

Click "Thermal Receipt" in the bottom toolbar. A specialized thermal receipt modal opens previewing authentic POS roll styling with jagged cut edges, seller/freelancer details, customer data, compact itemized breakdown, VAT & balance due, and a scannable QR code. You can switch between 80mm and 58mm paper sizes, trigger direct thermal printing, or copy ASCII receipt text.
